Why ASC3NDANTS?
2 Timothy 2 :15 says "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." We find that many Christians in the Church today are not studying and because they are not, they are in danger of falling away. This is a terrible truth, but what this also causes, is that Christians sit idlily by while evil grows in the world. We are pilgrims in this world, but that does not mean we don't stand up for the truth and try to lead people away from foolishness. We want to use ASC3NDANTS as a way of pushing back against the wickedness that has corrupted the truth of the Bible and hopefully cause conversation amongst the brethren so that iron sharpens iron.
